ReplyDelete1. Income is the money you get after doing work. For Jr. High school kids, an example of a job would be chores, mowing, babysitting, etc. Expenses would be the amount you have to pay to receive something you need. Jr. High students , would probably have expenses on clothes, food, and other things. Some forms of income ive received over the year are mowing , chores , doing other services for others, and being paid afterwards. Some expenses ive had over the year was school lunch, football forms and equipment , ITunes.. etc. I think tracking my income and expenses would benefit me because I can account for how much money im bringing in and how much I am losing all the time so I know how I am financially. financial status is how your state or condition is with your money and financialy

ReplyDeleteIncome is the salary you get paid for working a amount of hours in you job. My definition for expenses is the bills you have to pay. A example of expenses a student at UJHS is your fees for goings to Washington Trip if you are an 8th grader. A form of income that I have gotten over the year is my birthday money. Another one is the money I got for selling some of my stuff. Some expense that I had to pay over the year is my phone bill, also I had to buy my games. ReplyDeleteIncome is money you receive. Some things that are considered income for a junior high student is maybe birthday money or maybe your allowance you get each week. My definition of expenses is things that you spend money on. Some examples that a junior high school student would consider expenses is maybe if you go out to eat or shop at the mall. Some forms of income that you have received over the past year is when I do my chores, Christmas money and birthday money. Some expenses that you have had over the past year is things like candy and clothing. I think that you would benefit from tracking your own income and expenses for a year because it shows how much I get and spend.. And maybe I can take more advantage of my own money. Financial status is the amount of money that you have minus your expenses from your income.

ReplyDeleteI believe that income is the money you get to spend. Like birthday money, babysitting money, allowance etc.. Expenses are what is taking away from your gross pay and/or income (Depending on your definition of income). For me expenses are things I buy that I don't really need, like fast food or seeing a movie. One of my expenses was when I saw a movie last week. I could benefit from keeping track of my expenses by knowing when I splurge on stuff when I shouldn't and know how much I actually made that year. Financial status is how much money you spend after a period of time.
Kaleb Bowdle
ReplyDeleteIncome is the money that you bring home after Tax Deductions. Incomes for Jr. High students could be for yard work, chores, and selling stuff. Expenses is the money that you spend on things that you need or want such as: phones, supplies, etc. Some income that I have earned over the last year is by doing chores and selling stuff. Expenses that I have used was buying gum and other things from trips that I have taken. I don't think that it is important to track all of your expenses and incomes because we don't need to right now with cash but as we get older and have credit cards and checks then it will be important to track all of the expenses and incomes.
Devin Trent
ReplyDeleteMy definition of income is the payment you get back after working for a certain amount of time. And Income for a Junior High student could be walking some bodys dog and getting paid for that or working at school and getting your grade card.

Forms of income that I have earned over the past year was getting paid for mowing the lawn, picking up trash, chores and helping out other people that needed some thing done for them that they can't do.
Some Expenses that I have had over the past year was buying food for my dog and going to the fair and buying some stuff that I wanted. Yes I think it would benefit tracking your income and expenses over the year because it helps you figure out how much money your making and how much your spending over the year.
Financial status is the amount of money that you have minus your expenses from your income.
Bailey Ullah:
ReplyDeleteIncome is the amount of money you earn, things that are considered income to junior high are jobs like: Mowing a lawn, cleaning the house, taking out the trash, and washing their parents car. Expenses are the amount of money you spend on personal items, such as: iPhone, Television, a computer, a gaming system, clothes. Way that I earn income are by mowing my yard and I do it once a week. Some expenses I have bought video games, gifts for family and friends and a new basketball. I think it would help to track my money to see if I am making a profit or I am overspending, because if I am that means I will have to do extra work in order to pay off my debt. Financial Status, is if you are making money and still have some left over for personal items or you are spending too much money and are in debt.

ReplyDeleteIncome is the money you get after doing a job.For junior high students you might get money from doing yard work or babysitting and the income is what you get from doing those jobs. Expenses are things that you use your money on to buy things. For an adult that might be a new car or something of that extent. While for a junior high student it might be a new video game or a new football. Some forms of income that I have gotten over the past few years are mowing my grandmas yard for 15 dollars and doing yard work for my neighbor for 20 dollars and things like that. My expenses have been mostly shoes, fast food, and video games. I think that i would benefit from tracking my own expenses and income because i can see if i am spending my money wisely and what is the most common thing i am getting money from. The finacial status is the way you use your money.

ReplyDeleteIncome is the money you earn for working a job or as a present. Jr. high students could get income by walking dogs, babysitting, mowing a yard, or as a birthday present. Expenses are the money spent on things you want or need. Students would spend it on fast food, going to the movies, shoes, or money for a sport. Some forms of income I've received are birthday money, babysitting, and chores. Some expenses I've spent are lunch money, shoes, clothes, and a manicure and pedicure. ReplyDeleteIncome is money that you receive or earn. As a junior high student, different forms of income could be chore money or doing a neighborhood job, even things like receiving money during a holiday or birthday. At our age we cannot have a physical job that pays like adults, but we can still earn money through the jobs listed.
For us junior high students, expenses are something you have to pay to purchase something. This is mainly little trinkets and things we don't really NEED. This could be gum little items like lotion/perfume, or accessories from a favorite store. Really anything, as long as we're getting to spend the money we earn which is why it's rare to find a teenager/child that saves their money wisely.
Different forms of income that I receive are birthday money, Christmas money, and chore money.
Different forms of expenses I have encountered are things like gum, or souvenirs from concerts. Even little things from my favorite stores are things that I purchase.
I really don't think I would benefit from tracking my money considering I do not have a lot of money to track. Christmas and my birthday are really the only two times I earn money and chore money is rarely seen.
Financial status is described as 'Income-Expenses=Financial Status'. This makes sense considering whatever income money you have left after taking your expenses out shows you how wealthy/poor you are.

Some expenses I have are like getting my nails done, hair done, going into games, clothes.
I find it would be beneficial to track my income and expenses for a year because I can see how much I spend and how much I get. Then I see how much I could save instead of buying stuff I don't need. Financial status is your income minus your expenses. .

ReplyDelete1.My definition of income is something you get (money) for doing something else. Almost like a reward, but anything you collect is considered income. We might think of income as birthday money or payment for chores.
2.My definition of expenses is just something you spend money on and then something we might think of as an expense is maybe grabbing a snack after school at a restaurant or something or buying a cookie at lunch.
3. The only income i have received over the past year is some birthday money and then a few bucks from my mom because she didn't want to go put it out in the car. Also my dad gave me a bit for volleyball snacks.
4.Some expenses i had this year mostly had to do with buying birthday presents for my friends and football tickets.
5. I think i would because then i would see where all my money went and truly know all the money i collect in a year. It also might make me feel like i need to save more and spend less.
6. Financial status is your income subtract your expenses according to the clip.

ReplyDeleteIncome is the amount of money you earn from doing your job or a service. An exspenses is something you have to pay for with money from your income. A Jr.High student could earn income by doing yard work, babysitting, allowence, ect. A Jr.High student would have exspenses for things that they want such as fashion items, electronics, concert tickets, ect. In the past year, I have recieved income for babysitting and birthday money. Exspenses I spend my money on would be football tickes, nail polish, fast food, and gifts for other people. I think it would be difficult, but benifical to track my income and exspenses. I think this would be a good thing to do so that I could see how much money I start with. Then I can look at my exspenses. How much money did I waste/spend on things that could have waited or on things I simply didn't need.
Income - Exspenses = Financial Status.
