My answers were very similar to the five people I interviewed. The most common one was that you enjoy the job. Many, if not all of the people I interviewed answered the same thing. You should enjoy your job because you need to make sure you can stay with it to continue supporting yourself and your families needs. That was another answer in common, you get payed well so you can continue supporting your family.

I think that when you are picking a career you need to be interested in what you are doing so that you can focus and not play around when you are working at the job.

All my people I interviewed thought the most important characteristic to finding a job was one that made you happy or that you love. I thought the most important to finding a job was how much money you get is enough for you.

  5. Four of the Five people I had interviewed said that actually liking your work was the most important characteristic when choosing a job. I agree 100% with that they had said. I said that if you enjoy your job, you would actually want to wake up and go to work.

The five people I interviewed said that you need to enjoy what you do and I agreed. I also thought this because you need to enjoy what you do because you do it for the rest of your life. and if you do not like what you do your life will not be as good because you will have to pry yourself out of bed in the morning. And then find yourself staring at the clock wondering when you will be getting out. And then you will not enjoy your life.

I have agreed out all of my people of choosing a job that you want to do so you do not go to work and think why am I doing this. I do not like this and if you do not have any money how are you going to pay bills and get groceries and clothes. So I think that you should do what you really want to be and go do the career that you want and go to college to do.

In my journal entry about what I think is important when picking a job, I stated that it should be a job you like and a job you have studied for.. All five people that I interviewed said the same thing. But something I noticed is that you don't always work as what you wanted to be when you were in High School.. 4 out of the 5 people I interviewed stated that the job they have now is not what they wanted to be. So I learned I should be ready for my choices to change, and make the wrong choice as long as I enjoy what I am doing.

The most common characteristic that people said was not what I said. I said something that would pay well and 3 of the 5 people said a career that you would actually enjoy and get up and go to work every day.

My results matched with the five people I interviewed. The 5 people I interviewed said that the most important characteristic was do to something you like. One person I interviewed thought that the most important characteristic was to do some you like and to have a job that has a purpose. I agreed but I still think that the most important characteristic is to fine something you like.

When interviewing the five people I did I found out that there is many things to look forward into before accepting the field of work. The five people told me to make sure that they had all of the proper things I need in my job to help with my life, along with anything else. I also agree that you need to make sure you have all the qualifications before you accept that one job field.

  13. My findings during the interview supported my hypothesis. Question 4 was dead on my hypothesis about enjoying what you do for a living. All the people I interviewed explained in someway that you have to enjoy your job or career the most. Although the job they have currently isn't exactly like the job they really wanted, but it suits them in someway.

I do agree that Salary ( the 2nd most used consideration ) is important also. The men and women I interviewed completely agreed to the things I said that was most important when selecting a career. My journal entries are all similar because the people I interviewed and I all thought that the same things like, Enjoyment, Salary, and Location were all important when selecting your career.

I said that you should look for a job by the money, but the people i interviewed said that you should be happy with your job and as long as you like it. I think that they do have a point about you should like your job because if you don't you will have a miserable time during the time you work. And if you do like your job youll have fun during the time that you work.

I agree with five out of the five people I interviewed. The reason for everyone said you pick a job your enjoy because you don't want to go to a job you hate. You should pick a job of your enjoyment because you'll end up calling in sick, skipping, being cranky when there, etc. If you have a job of your enjoyment you might en up making new friends, having new interest in jobs, etc.Never pick a job based off salary because you'll never enjoy that job or subject. When i interviewed a techer i asked her if she ever thought she would end up teaching at Urbana she said "no" because she never liked talking in front of people. Never take a jb ased off salary pick of your enjoyment you might end up enjoying a new subject after the job experience.

Five out of five people in my interviews agreed that happiness was the most important factor when choosing a career. Also agreeing on the fact that if you arn't happy in your job then you wont be happy in life. Other thing that was said on that matter is that work shouldnt exactly like a manditory job that you dred going to every day. As for me, I too agreed with theese statements believing that happiness is most important.

Also that you need to find something that you like to do and that you can do well. You need to pick something that you will be happy with for the rest of your life. So basically you need to find something that you love to do.

I didn't really agree with the people I interviewed, because I think that the most important characteristic should be the benefits you get from your job you do. On the other hand, I understand why they would want a b that fits them.best and is something they enjoy, but I'm a person who would want to get some good things from working there.

The characteristics were very different. I thought that the salary and location would be very important, while they thought satisfaction was the most important characteristic. I agree that satisfaction is important but I'd personally prefer a higher pay. The location would be important because it'd be a waste to drive an hour to get to work.

I agree with most of the interviews that said enjoying your job so you can enjoy your life. The reason why I said this was because if you dont like what you do then how will you love your life you will instead hate the time you are there which will be a big part of your life. One of my interviews said that the money is one of the most important characistic becuase you have to support your family. Which I also agree is very important but what I think is bigger then the money because you want to be able to enjoy your everyday life.

I agree with the majority of the people I interviewed who said that salary was one of the most important things to look at when choosing a career. The whole point of having a job is to make money to support the things that you have. If you aren't making sufficient money, the whole point of having that job is gone. This means that if there is a job open in another career that you are qualified for, you need to look into it to see if you can get hired into that career. Yes, it is important to love your job, but at the end of the day most people are there for the money. And if the money you are making is plentiful, you LEARN to love the job

After interviewing 5 people i learned that you can pick a career and have enough money for other expenses. Some differences i noticed was that i was worried about the location, salary, getting paid overtime, etc. Some similarities were: enjoyment and passion.
