Joachim LaValley
Currently in his 12th year teaching at Urbana City Schools, the first 6 primarily as a 7th grade world studies teacher the past 5 years he has taught 8th grade technology applications. This is the third year that Mr. LaValley has taught Personal Financial Literacy in an online format. He is very excited for the opportunity for UJHS students to participate in the online learning environment.

Mr. LaValley has coached basketball, track, football, and baseball at Urbana City Schools. He is happily married and has one son and two young daughters and a pup named Olivia. Joachim recently finished up his Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer (GAFE) testing.
Charles Green
Mr. Charles Green retired at the end of the 2013 school year after 29 great years at Urbana Junior High
Personal:
Mr. Green is married to the amazing Peg and together they have two wonderful children. Chuck's favorite hobbies include spending time with his dog, Jack, traveling and looking for web 2.0 tools to use in his instruction. He recently earned his Google Power Searching certificate.
